Pillar 1: Understanding natural hazards, multihazards, and cascading effects

Pillar 1 focuses on the applied understanding of natural hazard processes in steep terrain, multi-hazards (hazard events that may occur in the same area), and potential cascading effects.

T1.1 - susceptibility and frequency of hazard events – state of practice in the partner countries
T1.2 - frontiers in modelling and monitoring of hazards
T1.3 - incorporating climate change and other uncertainties into adaptive hazard assessments.

The education package and activities in Pillar 1 will be hosted by UiB in Norway.
